Need help? Bark at us at service@thecommen.com
Last Updated: May 2026
At The Commen, we believe that the joy of spoiling your dog should be accessible to everyone—no matter how you browse the web. We are committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to individuals with disabilities. We are constantly working to improve the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
We are working hard to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA standards. These are the "golden rules" for making web content more accessible for people with visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor impairments.
Some of the things we are doing behind the scenes:
Screen Reader Friendly: Making sure our site plays nice with screen reading software.
Alt Text: Adding descriptive text to our "pawsome" product photos so everyone knows what the fluff is about.
Keyboard Navigation: Ensuring you can shop our collection using only your keyboard.
High Contrast: Making sure our colors don't just look good, but are easy to read.
Think of web accessibility like training a puppy—it’s an ongoing process! We are continuously auditing our site and making updates. While we strive for perfection, we know that some parts of the site may occasionally pose challenges as we update our inventory and themes.
If you are having any trouble accessing our site or have suggestions on how we can improve, please don't hesitate to "howl" at us. We are more than happy to assist you in finding the perfect treat or toy for your pup.
